Pacific Demolition was contracted to demolish the above grade structures of a former pulp mill for the construction of a new LNG facility in Squamish, BC.  This remote site required all equipment and demolition materials to travel by barge.  Our scope of work included a powerplant and its warehouse, two bio-basin clarifiers and a chemical storage facility. All concrete was processed on site to be used for backfill in construction of the new LNG facility and all non-hazardous waste was recycled.  Our crews coordinated activities in multiple locations daily on this isolated site and completed their work with no safety or environmental infractions.
